Oversized apple-shaped brooch. Gold trim around gun metal colored apple. This piece is simply stunning. This brooch also has loops on the back, so you could also wear this as a necklace pendant. Full Disclosure: there is tarnishing/patina on the back as pictured. This is common with age and does not take away from the piece.
